I seem to be shooting a lot of pigs lately. This one was taken last weekend in Sarah's favorite weekend getaway-Oakville, TX. We even saw her best friend Mickey Mouse at the house. If you don't know the story, you need to ask her about it.The pig was 200+ pounds and had some gnarly tusks on him. My friend Zac shot a doe as well, so we are loaded up on meat. He came to a feeder just before dark and I took him out with my .270 with a head shot.

It was a dark and icy night. The pigs were angry and so was I. This magnificent beast fell after 3 shots from the .22 caliber Ruger. Sarah was very pleased to hear the good news of a kill. She spent all night cutting it up and I awoke to the smell of freshly cooked bacon. What a wife!

Here is me and Crockett from this summer at lake LBJ. He really liked hanging out in the tube and eating fish. He also probably retrieved his duck dummy 1,000 times from the lake.

Here are some pics from a pig that me and my buddy Tim shot a few nights back. Head shot with a .22. Sarah wasn't too impressed that I hung it up in the garage to clean, but she'll get over it.
